Bad Girl, Bad Girl...Whatcha gonna do when she comes for you???

so today is Thursday January something and thanks to Melissa, TX losing electricity for the majority of the morning, Mother's Day Out was cancelled. this means...i was stuck with my kids all day :)...did i say stuck??? i meant...i was able to spend the entire day with my wonderful children!!! i was awaken by ally getting into my makeup...AGAIN!!! one would think...I would be smarter and put the makeup in areas that were less likely to be found by miss allycat, however I'm not smart...obviously!!! I walked into the living room and ally was looking dashing in her new shade of pink lipstick...b-e-a-utiful!!! not only did she apply lipstick to her face and knees, but my carpet and then added some nice shades of brown eyeshadow to highlight her masterpiece...quite impressive!!! thankfully this area she covered is pretty much near the clorox mishap she had two days ago!!!
while i was cleaning the toilets and mopping the tile floors from crew's "misses"...i came out and saw splatter paint on my carpet near the master bath and also the master closet. now this area must be cut and pasted with fresh carpet!!!
not to mention several days before this, she hand painted another masterpiece of finger painting of her lavender calming bath soap all over the hallway wall area. i have now painted this area twice and it still is not covering her painting. my main concern was she didn't spend long enough with the lavender which can be soooo relaxing!!! i've learned to not even get mad anymore...having children you must pick and choose your battles. if i were to get mad at allycat each and every time she was mischevious, the poor sweet angel would stay in trouble!!!
on the other hand my dear sweet crewzie is more than happy to tell on her each and every chance he can...this is a huge help to mommy!!! i'm usually able to prevent more damage than what could really happen if left unattended for too long of a period. today he also got his hair cut and looks so handsome while playing farm and bad guys upon hours and hours!!!
all for today, i have to get ally. she is kissing all of crew's toys and our furniture and is frustrating crew!!! whew...when's bedtime???

25 Random Facts

Since I'm miserably failing at posting daily funnies of my children...I figure I'd put more about me so people can get to know more about the crazy mother they come from. I'm compiling 25 random facts about ME!!!

1. i love my showers to be almost too stinkin hot, so hot that my skin turns a bright red from head to toe. mmm, makes me wanna skip the next 24 and head to the shower.

2. i have no idea how to wear cute pj's...i'm always mismatched and sloppily dressed from ragged pants to holey t-shirts. my poor poor husband!!! this is a terrible misfortune. I've always wanted to wear cute pj's.

3. my husband has a slightly odd obsession with my feet, and i kinda don't blame him. i have incredibly darling feet!!! ;)

4. i'm super duper crafty. i love making floral arrangements, painting, taking photos, making pointless junk for others that's personalized and colorful.

5. i love watching two cartoons. Courage the Cowardly Dog and Family Guy...i watch these cartoons without my children around and thouroughly enjoy myself.

6. i tell people my hair is naturally curly, however it's not really that curly and much more of an ugly frizzy, kinda curly, rotten mess!!! (insert sad sigh)

7. as a child i wanted to be and opera singer or a body builder...i've really let my dreams go...today i'm a horrific singer who is only good at building my body wider!!!

8. going to new places and trying new things makes me very uncomfortable.

9. i like to decorate but cannot figure out how to make a kitchen look "well decorated"...it always looks like random crap being stored to put somewhere else later. (this makes me sad)

10. i give myself french manicures on my toes and use a white paint pen and clear polish...and it looks fantastic!!!

11. i hate going to the zoo with my children...or anyone else for that matter. i think the animals are boring, the people are obnoxious, and the weather is generally too hot. ick!!!

12. i love thrift stores. i could dig all day if time allowed. finding a bargain that i love is invigorating!!!

13. i've started a new habit recently of falling asleep to christmas lullaby's. i'm convincing myself now that they are simply Jesus lullaby's so i don't feel so weird during all the other seasons of the year.

14. i sleep with a massively soft, large, ugly, red body pillow. without this pillow, my life is no longer complete. it comes between my husband and children every nap and night. i love my body pillow.

15. i love to vacuum!!! i could be a professional vacuum-er if such one existed...and no, not a janitor...a vacuum-er!!!

16. when it comes to making decisions, i'd rather have others make them for me. the pressure makes me very nervous.

17. i went to five different colleges. OSU-OKC, OCCC, OU, OSU, and UCO. summer schools, intersessions, and all sorts of different semesters.

18. i was born and bred a sooner but the day i die, i'll bleed orange!!! GO POKES!!!

19. i love watching my husband play golf and play his guitar, in which he does neither of the two anymore!!! (this makes me sad)

20. i hate washing white loads of laundry. putting socks together to matches and folding tons and tons of t-shirts, etc...makes me nuts!!! i could wash darks and towels ALL DAY LONG. i will put off whites until the whole household is in desperate need!!!

21. i don't like using capital letters to begin sentences. i'm not sure if it's lazyness or defiance against all my previous english classes.

22. i'm also a poor speller...this may be another reason i don't like to capitalize any letters. if i'm going to look unintelligent in my spelling, my punctuation may as well follow the pattern of ignorance.

23. i still write on the shower doors in the fog. it's not just for silly teenage girls...it's for washed up ole mommies too!!!

24. i generally don't like cell phones. i think they are rude and not too necessary unless in an emergency situation or states of extreme bordom. i rarely keep my eyes on mine and it's most the time out of battery or lost in car, bedding, or toys.

25. i've only had one haircut in over two years and it was at walmart when my husband insisted my amish style was a bit extreme for our new texas lifestyle!!!

Finger Painting???

Well it's only 4:45pm today but I'm hoping Allycat is finished with her naughty ways for the day and I found a free second to post my baby journal update for the day. This morning while in the shower I returned to a beautiful masterpiece of splatter painting on my pillow done by my massive bottle of cocoa butter lotion. AWESOME!!! Not only did it cover the pillow I lay my delicate head on each night to rest away my mommy stress but it also included Crew's spiderman power toothbrush. I'm staying positive and trying to tell myself that Crew's teeth will now be lustrious and smooth and my face will be stretchmark free...if any stretchmarks should magically appear between now and this evening. Glass is half full right?

Her next mischevious mission was her finger painting. However this consisted of her messy diaper. Ewwwwwww I know right. This is not surprising...gross I know. It was EVERYWHERE!!! Her legs, her feet, her leggings, and definately her hands, what a nightmare. She is potty training and the thought of her going dooty in her diaper now grosses her out but sometimes she still misses the boat on running to the potty or "pie" as she attempts to say it. I'm now finding diapers, pullups, or pretty pink panties laying all over the house since she simply prefers bottom nudity. So, fingers crossed the kiddos won't cause too much more messes for the day...momma has a headache and is tired of smeared lotion and poo pickup for this Friday!!! Have a happy weekend!!!

Okay Mom!!!

My mother keeps telling me how horrible it is that I don't have baby books filled in or some type of journal about my crazy children, Crew who just turned 4 and Ally who just turned 2. I have no time for scrapbooking and the money spent to make it as perfect as I would require it to be would be outlandish and I would much rather have a pair of new comfy flats or more maternity jeans at this point than pretty scrapbooking paper and decorative stickers. So I've decided that on this _ day of January...(as a mother I feel like dates are worthless unless a birthday or holiday)...I'm going to pledge my 2011 resolution. I'm going to blog about the adventures of my lil punks. As some of you may or may not know...Brandon and I are expecting another crazy Reeder to add to our madness!!! We are more than thrilled and I'm due June 16th, which forces us to call our fetus, Junebug. January 11th we find out the gender and I can hardly wait. I'm over the top excited!!! In the mean time many silly pictures and stories, good and very naughty should follow throughout this year and hopefully many more years to come. Enjoy!
